The impact resistant housing features a protective rubber coating, is optimised
for protection against electromagnetic effects and is resistant to corrosive
substances.
The simple LCD continuously displays the currently measured harmful gas concentration,
notice and warning functions. In addition, the respective peak concentration,
average concentration (TWA value)
and short term exposure limit (STEL) relating to the measurement periods
are all accessible.
DragerPac 7000 boasts
the latest in sensor technology. Major advances in
diffusion paths and electrochemical reaction times mean that gas hazards
are displayed immediately. Sensor positioning allows optimum exposure to
conditions and minimises the danger of the gas inlet being accidentally
covered.
In conjunction with a vibration alarm, a visual and audible alarm warns if
thresholds are exceeded (or
if oxygen levels fall below the set value). For optimum perception of sound
a two-tone alarm is used.
